I'm a self-taught photographer.

I grew up in Bielefeld vis-a-vis the dark edge of Teutoburger Wald and when introduced to photography by my grandpa, landscapes naturally became my first photographic objects, as well as sceneries of the village I lived in.

From the beginning black and white images had the strongest impact on me, but the prints I got back from the lab next door have always been disappointing. Luckilly I had the chance to make my first selfmade b&w prints in the darkroom one of my friends fathers had set-up in his basement.

I realized that printing with care on a good quality - paper is essential to me and my photographic work.

On this website I show analogue black and white images exclusively.

If you would like to purchase a handmade print feel free to contact me.
